Quick Reminder
East Moline Main Street is a volunteer organization. Please treat our volunteers with respect as they assist you with questions, parking, and setting up. They are here to help make your experience as smooth as possible.
Notifications
For each event you’re registered for, you’ll receive an email about one week in advance. This will include important details such as setup times, parking instructions, and entry points. Because our downtown area is currently under construction, details may change—these emails will always have the most up-to-date information.
Vendor Information – Website Updates
For your convenience, we have a dedicated Vendor Information section on our website at www.emmainstreet.org. This page will be kept up to date with the latest event details, instructions, and any important changes. In the event that you miss an email or need to confirm information, please refer to the website as your most reliable source for current updates.
Parking & Setup
When you arrive at the designated area, you will be checked in and directed to your assigned space. Please unload your items first, then move your personal vehicle to a designated parking area before completing your setup. This helps keep traffic flowing and allows other vendors to unload efficiently.
Electric & Generators
Electric access is currently very limited due to ongoing construction. If you require electricity, please let us know as soon as possible so we can note it on the master list. Generators may be necessary in some cases.
Trash
Please take responsibility for your own trash. Disposal areas will be provided, but vendors are expected to clean up their own space. We will handle general visitor cleanup, but not vendor waste.
Construction Updates
As you’ve likely seen, our downtown area is undergoing significant improvements, including plantings, benches, lighting, and some active street construction. Different blocks are in different phases, with demolition currently reaching the 900 block.
We appreciate your patience during this time. The result will be a more beautiful, vibrant downtown that will benefit all of us. We’re excited about the future and the new opportunities these improvements will bring for your businesses.
Invoices
If you are participating in the Spring Market or the Taco & Margarita Festival, please make sure your invoices are paid as soon as possible. We will begin mapping vendor spaces shortly. Payments can be made tonight via cash or check if needed.
Advertising / TV / Social Media
We’ll be featuring vendors on TV and social media. If you’d like your products showcased, please bring your items to me along with an inventory list and a card with your business name clearly labeled. April 21st Is all about the vendors. May 1st Food Friday is all about Food & Marg’s, May 6th will be a combo. I still have more stations to get with, so we will be adding dates – Stay Tuned.
